‘Tango With Me’ To Be Released In The UK

The film Tango With Me, which stars Genevieve Nnaji and Joseph Benjamin will be released in the UK later this year. Brickwall Communication Limited, which produced the movie has signed a distribution deal with Talking Drum Entertainment to release the movie in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The film will also be released in some other European countries. The official release date for the UK is August 17, although this date is subject to confirmation. There are plans for a UK premiere, and the cinema release is expected to cover to 20 – 30 screens. This development is a major step forward in taking African films to mainstream audiences outside Africa.
Tango With Me was directed by Mahmood Ali-Balogun (CEO, Brickwall Communication Limited), and it also stars Joke Silva, Tina Mba, and Ahmed Yerima. It has won several awards, including Best Film, at the recently held Nollywood Movies Awards.
Talking Drum Entertainment, which is handling the cinema release is a UK company, which develops and distributes black film and TV content. Talking Drum Entertainment is the first distributor specialising in black film to join the prestigious Film Distributors Association (FDA) in the UK .
