Nigerians to be deported from Ghana

Government of the West African country, Ghana will commence the mass deportation of Nigerians living in that country.

In response to that, the House of Representative Committee on the Diaspora said it will seek for ECOWAS assistance in order to halt the deportation process.

Same time, 29 years ago, Nigeria Government Under President Shagari embarked upon mass deportation of the people of Ghana living in Nigeria.

While the House deliberate on this development, they should send the message to the government in Ghana of our retaliatory decisions like Evacuating immediately Nigerians studying in Ghana.
We are very sure that over 50% of the Universities in Ghana will go bankrupt in just 6 months if these dollar paying Nigerians withdraw from their colleges and Universities.

It is apparent that the situation in 1983 in Nigeria and today in Ghana has not relation in terms of comparison, as Nigerians in Ghana have established business and massed properties, while otherwise is the case of Ghanaian nationals living in Nigeria then.
