Kennis Music signs on American artist

NIGERIA’S Kennis Music has finally signed America’s young singing sensation and multi platinum producer, B. Howard. This has turned up to be a major breakthrough in the nation’s entertainment industry, especially as this has been an era Nigerian artistes are falling over themselves to be signed on to American labels, or even do duets with American singers. The deal with the singer, who is already making waves in United States, Japan, and Europe, involves Kennis Music managing Howard’s affairs in Nigeria, record, remix, as well as promote his works in the country and other African countries. Kenny Ogungbe, CEO, Kennis Music, promised to promote Howard and put him on the front burner. “He is top priority now as the first international artiste from USA we have on our label. Instead of going to America to sign our stars unto their labels, we are bringing Americans to Nigeria. We are releasing his single, “Dancefloor”, in Nigeria”, he said.
The deal was struck between Kennis Music and B. Howard's entertainment company, 6 Point Entertainment, owned by him and Jonnie Forster. Howard admitted that after performing at the World Cup record a few years back, he received so much support from fans in Africa that it became a dream for him to perform throughout the continent one day. “I am so excited that we are working with Kenny to make this dream a reality." Forster adds; "We sought out the right partner who understands Howard's global vision as an artist, and who also has passion for quality music. Kennis Music was the right partner for us." Kennis Music has other international artistes such as Baby Girl (Benin Republic), Tic Tac (Ghana), Mz Bell (Ghana) and Ghana’s biggest music export, VIP, on its label. B. Howard’s works is distributed in various territories through Universal Music Group which symbiotically works for Kennis Music.
